Elements T’s & C’s for Parents

Thank you for choosing Elements Gymnastics Club for your son or daughter. We are excited they are joining the Elements Gymnastics gym family. 


Elements Subscription Fees

  • When you sign up for our classes you are paying for a space in that class. You will be expected to pay for the full monthly subscription for classes you sign up for via ClassForKids regardless if you attend each session or not as the space is reserved for you/ your child once booked. 
  • Sessions must be paid for in advance. There is NO option to pay weekly. Payments will be taken on the 1st of every month.
  • It is your responsibility to notify Elements Gymnastics Club Dartford if you decide to stop gymnastics. We will then cancel your subscription with ClassForKids the following month, provided you have told us in advance before your subscription is taken on the 1st. If you cancel your Subscription during a month it is in our policy that we do not issue refunds for the current month. 
  • Any outstanding fees must be paid for and up to date before your subscription is cancelled.
  • If you do not pay by the date required your space will be automatically given away to someone on the waiting list by classes4kids.
  • For new gymnasts signing up Subscription payments are required from the week following your taster session.
  • If a class is cancelled for any reason we will endeavor to offer you an alternative class. Where possible this will be the day you signed up for however if this is not possible you will be offered a make up session on an alternative day. Refunds will not be issued.
  • Payments will be taken on the 1st of each month. if you have started during the month the remaining sessions that month will be added to the next instalment. 
  • When setting up the payment plan you will be charged £0.00 initially as the first payment will be taken on the 1st of the month.
  • If you sign up for a class you are liable to pay for ALL the sessions in that month regardless of whether you turn up to every session. 
  • From February 2026 All New starters will be required to pay a 1 off Joining fee of £30.00 This includes an Elements T-shirt.
  • If you leave and re-join Elements Gymnastics you will be required to pay from your first session and will not be offered a re-trial date.

Elements Schools Classes Fees

  • When you sign up for our classes you are paying for a space in that class. You will be expected to pay for the full term for classes you sign up for via ClassForKids regardless if you attend each session or not as the space is reserved for you/ your child once booked.

  • It is your responsibility to notify Elements Gymnastics Club Dartford if you decide to stop gymnastics. We will then cancel your space with ClassForKids the following term, provided you have told us in advance before the term starts. If you cancel your space during a term it is in our policy that we do not issue refunds for the current term. 
  • Any outstanding fees must be paid for and up to date or you will not be allowed to continue the following term.
  • If you do not pay by the date required your space will be automatically given away to someone on the waiting list by classes4kids.
  • If a class is cancelled for any reason we will endeavor to offer you an alternative class. Where possible this will be the day you signed up for however if this is not possible you will be offered a make up session on an alternative day. Refunds will not be issued.
  • If you sign up for a class you are liable to pay for ALL the sessions in that term regardless of whether you turn up to every session, you are only required to pay for remaining sessions if you start during a term.

BG Membership & Insurance

All gymnasts MUST be insured to train. British Gymnastics membership & insurance will be due after your taster session. 

Gymnasts will be refused entry without BG insurance in place. 

BG membership is required for your gymnasts to take part in the Rise Award Scheme, our Club Competition yearly and weekly gymnastics sessions.

RISE GYMNASTICS AWARD SCHEME


Gymnasts in our recreational fun gym programme will be starting the Rise award scheme; please be aware if your son/daughter does not have BRITISH GYMNASTICS MEMBERSHIP/INSURANCE they will not be able to take part in the RISE Award Scheme or receive any awards for their development. 


Elements Membership Joining Fee

There is a one off registration fee for all customers that will be required from February 2026.

There is a one off joining fee of £30.00. This is for your membership to Elements Gymnastics Club Dartford. 

This fee covers all administrative work for your child. 

Each gymnast will receive an Elements T-Shirt on completion of the membership Joining fee payment.


Class Attire

At Elements gymnasts safety is paramount; please can all gymnasts adhere to the club attire policy. 

Gymnasts must wear sports clothing; this includes Leotards, unitards, Skins, Leggings, Shorts, joggers or longs, T-shirts, vest tops, tight fitting clothing. 

Please do not wear loose or baggy clothing, skirts or dresses, jeans or denim. 

Gymnasts should train in bare feet or grippy socks only. 

Gymnasts are not permitted to wear any jewellery including stud earrings. 

Gymnasts must have long hair tied up.


CLUB KIT


Elements Merchandise and kit can be purchased via our online store at Little Star Leotards

They have created a selection of training items for Elements including leotards, bags, onesies & jackets for our members.

Class Attendance

Only gymnasts and coaches are allowed in the gymnastics training hall

There is a viewing gallery for parents who wish to stay and watch the classes. Please keep this clean and tidy and throw the mess in the bins.

Gymnasts should be dropped off and picked up by a parent or guardian promptly

Gymnasts should arrive at least 5 minutes before the class and parents should be ready to pick their children up at the end of their gymnastics session on time.

Everyone is required to respect the buildings we are hiring and our staff, often there is more than one class happening at the same time so please keep noise to a minimum when outside waiting or upstairs in the viewing gallery.

All shoes and outdoor coats should be left outside the gymnastics hall.

Gymnasts are required to bring a drink with them when attending our sessions to keep hydrated.

All gymnasts belongings brought into the gym are their responsibility and Elements will take no responsibility for lost items.

Gymnasts should keep their belongings in a bag.

Rise Gymnastics Awards sessions are completed throughout the yea, please note if you miss a session you will have to wait until the next one to be assessed.


Elements Welfare

The club has adopted the British Gymnastics policies for Child Protection, Health & Safety, Welfare, Equality and Code of Conduct; all officials, coaches, members and parents must adhere to these policies.

Our Welfare and safeguarding officers are Rebecca Arnould & Kate Tucker. Both are available for all our members, coaches and parents. To contact Rebecca & Kate please use welfare@elementsgymnastics.co.uk 

You will often find Kate or Rebecca in or around the gym most days of the week. 

Volunteer Welfare Role covers;

Responding to child protection & poor practice concerns, providing support and advice, assisting the club with the safety & wellbeing of its members & assisting the club to be more child focused in its activities, assisting the club with writing its policies and much more.
