Elements T’s & C’s for Parents

Thank you for choosing Elements Gymnastics Club for your son or daughter. We are excited they are joining the Elements Gymnastics gym family.

Elements Subscription Fees

  • When you sign up for our classes you are paying for a space in that class. You will be expected to pay for the full termly subscription for classes you sign up for via ClassForKids. (Term 1 Apr 1st-Aug 31st, Term 2 Sep 1st-Dec 31st Term 3 Jan 1st - Mar 31st)
  • Sessions must be paid for in advance. There is NO option to pay weekly 
  • If you do not sign up for the next termly subscription it is your responsibility to notifiy Elements Gymnastics Club Dartford and cancel your payment & subscription with ClassForKids. If you cancel your Subscription during a term it is in our polciy that we do not issue refunds.
  • If you do not pay by the date required your space will be automatically given away to someone on the waiting list by classes4kids.
  • For new gymnasts signing up this will start from the week after your taster session.
  • If a class is cancelled for any reason we will endeavor to offer you an alternitive class. Where possiable this will be the day you signed up for however if this is not possiable you will be offered a make up session on an alterntive day. Refunds will not be issued.
  • Payments will be taken on the 1st of each month
  • If you sign up for a class you are liable to pay for ALL the sessions in that month regardless of whether you turn up to every session. 
  • All memebers of Elements Gymnastics club Dartford and new starters will be required to pay a 1 off set up/ membership fee of £30. This fee will include a bag and water botlle for all memebers.
  • if you leave and re-join Elements Gymnastics you will be required to pay the setup payment everytime you Re-Join.

BG Insurance

All gymnasts MUST be insured to train. BG insurance will be due after your free taster session. Gymnasts will be refused entry without BG insurance in place. The BG forms include all your medical information & contact details; please do ensure these are correct and if anything changes they are updated.

RISE GYMNASTICS AWARD SCHEME

Gymnasts in our recreational fun gym programme will be starting the Rise award scheme; please be aware if your son/daughter does not have BRITISH GYMNASTICS MEMBERSHIP/INSURANCE they will not be able to take part in the RISE Award Scheme or recieve any awards for their development. 

Elements Membership Setup Fee

There is a one off registration fee for all customers this will be required from April 2023.

There is a one off set up fee of £30.00. This is for your membership to Elements Gymnastics Club Dartford. 

This fee covers all administritive work for your child. 

Each gymnast will recieve an Elements Drawstring bag and Elements Sports Water Bottle on completion of the membership ser up payment.

Class Attire

At Elements gymnasts safety is paramount; please can all gymnasts adhere to the club attire policy. 

Gymnasts must wear sports clothing; this includes Leotards, unitards, Skins, Leggings, Shorts, joggers or longs, T-shirts, vest tops, tight fitting clothing. 

Please do not wear loose or baggy clothing, skirts or dresses, jeans or denim. 

Gymnasts should train in bare feet or grippy socks only. 

Gymnasts are not permitted to wear any jewellery including stud earrings.

Class Attendance

Only gymnasts and coaches are allowed in the gymnastics training hall

There is a viewing gallery for parents who wish to stay and watch the classes.

Gymnasts should be dropped off and picked up by a parent or guardian

Gymnasts should arrive at least 5 minuites before the class and parents should be ready to pick their children up at the end of their gymnastics session on time

Everyone is required to respect the buildings we are hiring and our staff, often there is more than one class happening at the same time so please keep noise to a minimum when outside waiting or upstairs in the viewing gallery

All shoes and outdoor coats should be left outside the gymnastics hall

Gymnasts are required to bring a drink with them when attending our sessions to keep hydrated.

All gymnasts belongings brought into the gym are their responsibility and Elements will take no responsibility for lost items.

Gymnasts should keep their belongings in a bag

Elements Welfare

The club has adopted the British Gymnastics policies for Child Protection, Health & Safety, Welfare, Equality and Code of Conduct; all officials, coaches, members and parents must adhere to these policies.

Responding to child protection & poor practice concerns, providing support and advice, assisting the club with the safety & wellbeing of its members & assisting the club to be more child focused in its activities. 

Elements Mission Statement

We encourage our students to learn gymnastics safely while increasing self-confidence, body awareness, coordination, and skill. Children of all ages will build strength, increase flexibility, agility, balance and mental focus, while also learning how to incorporate overall fitness into a healthy lifestyle for years to come. We want to appropriately challenge each student and help them meet personal goals while maintaining a happy and healthy environment for all. Elements is an approachable & caring club with a real family feel creating a personal service for all our members.
