Elements FunGym Rise Competition 2025 We would like to invite you to attend a Rise Gymnastics competition! We are excited to be able to host and invite you to participate. Everyone is welcome at a Rise Gymnastics competition; we want gymnasts to have a fun, safe and positive experience. This competition is aimed at all our gymnasts from the club and schools who train in our FunGym recreational sessions. Rise Gymnastics gives every child the opportunity to shine, at British Gymnastics & Elements Gymnastics, we believe competitions should also reflect this. They should be safe, full of fun and positivity, providing the opportunity for every gymnast to amaze themselves. Using a positive scoring system where gymnasts are awarded points, instead of given deductions, the competition framework puts gymnasts at the heart of the experience. As we will be hosting a BG Rise competition every child will receive a certificate and medal. Gymnasts will receive an achievement certificate when participating in a Rise Gymnastics competition (one certificate per gymnast). The certificate will show the gymnast’s achievements for each strand of the competition they have taken part in, using gold, silver, and bronze stickers. Gymnasts will also be rewarded with a sticker for their overall award, which will be calculated by competition scorers once the gymnast has completed their competition. All gymnasts will also receive a participation medal when they have taken part in the Rise Gymnastics competition. These medals are not used for placing gymnast’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd, they are all one design. There will also be an Award for the gymnasts number. Each gymnast will be assigned a number and they have to create this & bring along with them on the day. The theme this year for number entries is Elements Rise Sparkle and Shine!! Parents and families will be invited to come along watch & cheer the gymnasts on to give them lots of support. This is an inclusive competition for all our recreational gymnasts. Children will be split into school years for the competition or pre-school for those not attending school yet. Routines will be taught in regular gymnastics classes.
Camp notes
Once all entries have been collated gymnasts will receive their number and round.
All gymnasts will be practicing routines in class each session.
We envisage all gymnasts rounds from our FunGym sessions will be in the morning between 9am-12pm.
Rounds will last up to 2 hours.
To do the competition gymnasts will need to have hair tied up neatly, wear tight fitting clothing/ leotards or shorts and a t-shirt.

Gymnasts will need to bring a bottle of water with them.
Following the success of our competition last year, this competition will be run on a first come first basis. Please enter quick to avoid disappointment as some age categories are predicted to sell out.
Spectator Tickets will be available to purchase at the gym from Monday 2nd June. Spectator tickets will be cash only.
Prices are:
Adults £7.00
Children (<18) & concessions £4.00.
Babies on laps do not need a ticket.
We hope to run a bake sale on the competition day and any cake, bake and treat donations would be greatly appreciated.
There will also be tea's, coffees and toasties available to purchase.
This will all be Cash only on the day.
Please be mindful parking is limited so leave enough time to find an alternative parking space if needed on the day.
